The Security/Safety Committee is responsible for providing sufficient security, lighting, and safety facilities at the event. It will work with the Allentown Police Department and their designees with regard to the number of uniformed police, parking officials, traffic officials, etc necessary to conduct the festival.

From a safety perspective, the Committee will peruse the festival grounds to identify potential hazards from a liability standpoint. It will work to maintain a safe site, record all incidents that occur or physical entities that may lead to falls and spills and what has been done to correct it. This should help to limit liability and bring down all insurance premiums.
