Sommerfest In The Valley 2012 is back at Mayfair Festival of the Arts, Allentown's premier festival of the arts.

Celebrate Germanic heritage and culture by dropping in to Sommerfest’s Euro Café’, organized by the  Lehigh Saengerbund, the 154-year-old German-American Society of the Lehigh Valley. Find delicious German comfort food, wine, international and German beer in a decorative setting with German-themed art pieces created by students from Northwestern Lehigh High School, Kutztown Area High School and Easton Area High School. The “Kaffee und Kuchen” Kitchen also offers German coffee and assorted, hard-to-resist, Germanic baked goods plus hand-twisted Bavarian pretzels and “laugenbrötchen” (German pretzel rolls). Specialty foods and cupcakes provided by Blondies, recently featured on the Food Network. Germanic entertainment, singing. Cultural crafts and festival merchandise.
